Nvidia joined the India Deep Tech Alliance as a founding member and strategic technical adviser, as per the alliance’s announcement.
The alliance describes itself as a national coalition of investors, companies and research institutions that supports deep-tech startups with technical guidance, training and policy input under India’s Research, Development & Innovation Scheme.
“Nvidia aims to share technical insights, scalable compute resources and global best practices to support India’s deep tech ecosystem,” Vishal Dhupar, managing director, South Asia, Nvidia.
Among other things, the partnership also includes providing technical talks, training via the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI), or other access to appropriate technical assistance.
The alliance said the effort aligns with India’s Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) Scheme, which the Government of India approved on July 1, 2025. Members plan to deploy their own capital over five–10 years and provide mentorship and network access.
It added that a second wave of members brought more than $850 million (>₹7,500 crore) in individual capital commitments from Qualcomm Ventures, Activate AI, InfoEdge Ventures, Chiratae Ventures, Kalaari Capital, Singularity Holdings VC and YourNest, noting it does not pool capital, in a separate announcement.
