Fulham Football Club has appointed Oracle to overhaul its food and beverage systems at Craven Cottage and Fulham Pier, the club’s new year-round riverside entertainment destination in west London.

The Premier League club will roll out Oracle’s Simphony Cloud point-of-sale (POS) and Payments Cloud Service across the stadium and restaurants in time for the upcoming season.

Fulham hopes to cater to the unique needs of fans, concert-goers and casual visitors.

By adopting Oracle’s cloud-based technology, the club aims to streamline transactions, reduce queuing times, and tap into real-time data insights to better manage everything from staffing and inventory to menu planning and promotions.

“The implementation of Oracle’s cloud technology is the next step in transforming our properties into a premier London lifestyle destination,” said Darren Preston, chief operating officer at Fulham FC.

“We are excited to provide our fans and guests with a seamless, modern ordering and payments experience that reduces queues and enables visitors to spend more time immersing themselves in the exciting atmosphere and activities throughout our venue.”

The system will include flexible ordering options to suit a variety of venues – from grab-and-go counters inside the stadium to handheld tablets for tableside service at Fulham Pier’s high-end restaurants.

Fulham will also deploy Oracle’s Workstation 8 and Kitchen Display Systems to help minimise waste, fulfil orders from multiple channels and keep kitchen operations running smoothly.

Simphony’s integrated analytics tools claim to allow the club to track guest behaviour, adjust stock levels, and tailor promotions in real time, improving both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Alex Alt, executive vice president and general manager at Oracle Consumer Industries added:  “By leveraging data insights across their venues, Fulham can continually adapt to the changing needs of their guests, delivering memorable outings that keep fans, local residents, and visitors coming back time and time again.”
