Siemens and Capgemini are expanding their partnership to co-develop AI-native digital solutions for product engineering, manufacturing and operations, in a joint announcement.

The companies said they will focus on 16 capability areas aimed at improving production efficiency, time-to-market, quality and sustainability by combining Siemens’ industrial software, automation, electrification and sustainability portfolio with Capgemini’s engineering and industry expertise.

“For our customers, Capgemini is like a compass… Siemens provides the engine,” said Cedrik Neike, CEO of Digital Industries at Siemens.

Aiman Ezzat, Capgemini’s CEO, said the goal is to help clients realize tangible business impact and set new benchmarks for operational efficiency.

As a client example, the partners said they are supporting Airbus on a program to cut energy use by 20% and reduce Scope 1 and 2 stationary emissions by 85% by 2030 at four U.S. and U.K. sites. The companies said their joint go-to-market supports more than 100 clients across 20 countries.
