Deloitte expands cloud observability offering
In a bid to help clients keep tabs on their IT infrastructure and systems in the cloud more effectively Deloitte has partnered with software vendor Dynatrace to expand its range of cloud management services.
The auditing consultancy will use the software intelligence platform’s observability and advanced AIOps capabilities to help IT teams manage the enormous amount of data generated by complex multicloud environments.
Deloitte said that it had already invested considerable industry knowledge and software engineering to help its clients accelerate their cloud usage by simplifying and automating their burgeoning cloud operations.
By expanding its cloud observability practice, encompassing DevOps principles, AI/ML, cloud complexity management and software, Deloitte Consulting’s Ranjit Bawa – principal US cloud leader – hopes that the new offering will further accelerate clients’ digital transformation projects.
In a statement Deloitte said that its DevOps team and site reliability engineers were being trained and certified to incorporate Dynatrace’s platform into its Innovation Centers and DevOps Cloud Platform.
Deloitte US CIO Doug Beaudoin also confirmed that it would also continue to use Dynatrace for its own internal IT operations, covering the organisation’s wide range of technologies and processes.
“Deloitte has been successfully using Dynatrace software to enable observability, control and automated insights across cloud providers and technologies in a single platform throughout our complex environment,” said Beaudoin. “We are excited to bring this offering to our clients and extend the same benefits to them.”
