Google launches Gemini 3 with same-day integration into Search

Google released Gemini 3 and, for the first time, brought a new Gemini model to Search on day one via AI Mode. The company describes Gemini 3 as the “most intelligent” model, tuned for deeper reasoning and multimodal understanding.

In the Search update, Google says U.S. Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers can select Gemini 3 in AI Mode immediately, with routing of tougher queries to the model and new generative UI that can create interactive tools and simulations directly in results.

“This is the first time we are shipping Gemini in Search on day one,” the Gemini 3 launch post states, adding that the model is also available in the Gemini app, AI Studio, and Vertex AI.

For enterprises and developers, Google introduced Antigravity, an agent-first development platform, and said Gemini 3 is available now in Gemini Enterprise and Vertex AI for production use.
