SitusAMC detected a cybersecurity data breach incident on Nov. 12, 2025, and has determined that certain information from its systems was compromised. The company says corporate data tied to some clients’ relationships with SitusAMC, such as accounting records and legal agreements, was impacted.
In its notice, SitusAMC states it began an investigation with external experts, notified federal law enforcement, and contained the incident. The company adds that services are fully operational and the event did not involve encrypting malware.
SitusAMC did not identify affected clients and says it is continuing to analyze any potentially impacted data. The company has posted the update and related information on its website.
However, the NYT reports that JPMorgan Chase, Citi and Morgan Stanley were among institutions notified that client data may have been affected; the banks didn’t immediately comment.
