Salesforce expanded partnerships with OpenAI and Anthropic to embed their frontier models into its Agentforce 360 platform, positioning itself as a central access point for enterprise AI, it announced at its Dreamforce conference in San Francisco.
The deals integrate OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Anthropic’s Claude family directly into Salesforce’s ecosystem. Salesforce said it is collaborating with Stripe and OpenAI to build an ‘Instant Checkout’ integration for Agentforce Commerce, enabling purchases in ChatGPT.
The partnerships enable employees and consumers to interact with customer data through ChatGPT, Slack and Salesforce software. Users can access Agentforce 360 apps inside ChatGPT, build Tableau visualizations and develop AI agents within the platform.
Anthropic’s Claude models will serve customers in regulated sectors including financial services, healthcare and cybersecurity through Salesforce’s secure cloud environment. The companies plan industry-specific AI tools with deeper Slack and Agentforce 360 integration.
Agentforce 360 launched globally Monday with capabilities to create, deploy and manage AI agents across entire organizations. The twin deals underscore enterprise software makers racing to integrate generative AI into everyday business workflows.
