Energy technology firm UCR Group has partnered with Corpora.ai with the aim of accelerating the development of clean energy and sustainable materials.

Both companies say the collaboration could accelerate projects from lab discovery to commercial deployment.

UCR, known for its work in ceramic materials and energy technologies, will use Corpora.ai’s Scientific Frontier Research Platform, which combines a graph of open-source intelligence with reasoning AI.

The system is designed to help scientists analyse and validate research more quickly and reliably.

The collaboration aims to fast-track progress on projects such as solar technologies that could boost panel efficiency by 2.5 times, and industrial energy devices capable of cutting consumption by more than 60%.

“UCR’s work represents some of the most promising advances in ceramic material science,” said Mel Morris, CEO and co-founder of Corpora.ai. “This partnership shows what happens when world-class scientists are equipped with AI built for frontier discovery: bold breakthroughs move quickly from imagination to impact.”

UCR chief executive Keith Cook said the platform allows the company’s researchers to validate findings in hours rather than days or months.

“It means we can scale faster, compete globally, and focus on solving the most urgent challenges in clean energy,” he added.
